“Our goal with the field trips is to expose teenagers and young adults to various businesses in the Santa Clarita Valley and to show them that entrepreneurship can often times be found in larger companies” said Diana Meyer business advisor of the SBDC.
YEP provides several hands-on and networking opportunities and the chance to hear about numerous resources available to them through the SBDC. In addition, YEP participants are given the option to have one-on-one consulting with a business advisor as they launch their new business or move it to the next level.
The Business in Action field trip is Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Specialty Motors, Inc. in Valencia from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This great opportunity is open to young entrepreneurs ages 14 to 27 and is free of charge. In order to attend you must register at http://tinyurl.com/4y77ktr
