Agua Dulce Winery and the sister parcel located in Santa Barbara in a popular area known as the “Funk Zone” are up for $23.5 million, according to the realtor Marcie Hartley.
“The owner is involved in many different types of businesses and is reaching the retirement age,” said Hartley. “He is beginning to sell off a lot of things not just this business.”
Agua Dulce Winery is the largest winery in Los Angeles County with 90 acres of vines.
The winery produces six different varieties of wine and has daily tours and tastings, a gourmet gift shop and a production facility that is capable of generating 45,000 cases per year, according to the listing on Christies International Real Estate website.
The Santa Barbara retail parcel boasts a wine-tasting room, two adjoining warehouses, a wine shop, gourmet market and fully functional winery.
It also will eventually feature a separately branded Agua Dulce tasting room, which is currently under construction.
