The Cabrillo Music Theatre will be presenting a new musical in 2014 and are looking for actors who would like to audition.

WHAT: Cabrillo Music Theatre is proud to announce auditions for the regional professional premiere of this “new classic” – the multi-Tony-winning Best Musical of 2008, IN THE HEIGHTS. IN THE HEIGHTS fuses contemporary music with timeless family struggles, and Cabrillo’s production will feature the original Tony Award-winning choreography of Andy Blankenbuehler, recreated by the show’s dance captain, Morgan Marcell. Auditions will take place November 10th through the 12th, 2013. IN THE HEIGHTS will play March 28th through April 6th, 2014, in the Kavli Theatre at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Rehearsals for IN THE HEIGHTS begin February 17th for non-Equity performers, and March 3rd for Equity performers.
WHERE & WHEN:Monday, November 11th, 2013 from 10:15am-6:00pm at Madilyn Clark Studios, 10852 Burbank Blvd., N. Hollywood, CA 91601. This is an Equity call for principal roles.
Sunday, November 10th, from 1pm-9pm, and Tuesday, November 12th, 2013, from 4pm-11pm, at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Dr., Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. These are non-Equity appointments for all roles.

All roles open, and all roles available to non-union performers. Actors’ Equity contracts available for some roles. There is pay for all roles.
