California Credit Union Looking To Award Local Educators

In an effort to support our local education community, the California Credit Union branch in Valencia has announced their Spring 2013 Teacher Grant program. On April 26, 10 teachers from Los Angeles County will be chosen to receive $500 each.

Eligibility Requirements:  

  • You must be an active full-time classroom teacher in Los Angeles County for the 2013-2014 school year
  • Submit a project plan, including objectives, schedule and budget.

Applications are due by Friday, April 12. 

Recipients of the Fall 2012 CCU Teacher Grant:

  • Gina Cardillo, York Elementary School
  • Luz Zepeda, Park Avenue Elementary
  • Justin Ro, Glen A Wilson High School
  • Grace Voong, Villacorta Elementary School
  • Keith Russell, John Muir High School
  • Monica Lertkulvanich, Lomita Math/Science Magnet
  • Christine MacInnis, North High School
  • Wendy Shaner, Canyon Springs Elementary
  • Michael Mansfield, Bowman High School
  • Janie Prucha, Golden Valley High School
