Camarillo Woman Crashes Into Bus On Soledad Canyon Road

khts_crime_genericA Camarillo woman is in custody after allegedly driving under the influence and hitting a Santa Clarita Valley Transit bus on Soledad Canyon Road Thursday night.

The bus had just picked up a passenger and began moving eastbound on Soledad Canyon Road at Golden Oak Road when it was rear-ended by a passenger car driven by Jeane Dexheimer, 51, of Camarillo.

The bus had 10 passengers and the driver was on board at the time of the collision. One male adult passenger complained of back pain and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Dexheimer, who also sustained minor injuries in the collision, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Upon release from the hospital, she was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The investigation is being handled by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
