During the investigation, Singh was observed to be sweating profusely and appeared to be very nervous. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed nine kilos of cocaine located in a suitcase in the sleeper berth of the cab.
Both Singh and Kalia were arrested on suspicion of narcotics for sales. Singh was transported and booked at the Los Angeles County Inmate Reception Center and Kalia was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. Each man is being held in lieu of a quarter million dollars bail.
