According to the group: “2008 will be a year where many issues important to the future of the city of Santa Clarita will be decided. Annexation, the Henry Mayo (G&L Realty) expansion project, a new Civic Center (sheriff’s station) and the proposed Field of Dreams sports park are just a few of the projects that will impact the city for many years to come. What makes it even more important is that in April, we will cast our votes to elect two councilmembers who share our views and goals.”

The committee heard from candidates Laurie Ender, Bob Spierer and Diane Trautman in November.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 in the Activities Center at the city’s Sports Complex, 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway. All are welcome to attend.
