A Canyon Country man is in custody after a six-month investigation by narcotics detectives.

Justin James Taylor, 24, was arrested at his home in the 18000 block of American Beauty Drive when detectives executed a search warrant. Investigators found 50 marijuana plants, a half-pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 100 LSD tabs, marijuana packaged for sale, one shotgun, two handguns and $50,000 cash.

Taylor was booked on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substances for sale and felony transportation of a controlled substance. He is being held at the Santa Clarita Valley station in lieu of $30,000 bail.
