Canyon Country Man Assaulted In Front Of His Home

khts_crimeAt 5 a.m. this morning, a man on the 18400 block of Jakes Way in Canyon Country was threatened and assaulted by a group of men arguing outside of his home.  He sustained minor injuries and the attackers have been detained.

Reportedly, three or four men had been standing outside arguing loudly.  When the resident asked them to quiet down, one of them, a 16 year old, threatened, “Go back to sleep before I kill you and your whole family.”

Another man, Michael Cisneros, 18, swung a screwdriver at the resident, hitting him on the chest, shoulder, and giving him a significant cut.

Deputies arrived and arrested Cisneros of Palmdale for assault with a deadly weapon and detained the juvenile who will be sent to Sylmar Juvenile Hall.  The resident did not go to the hospital to treat his injuries.
