Local playhouse lends dramatic theme to gala.
[view:node_ad=5]Friday night, all aspiring James Bonds will have their
chance to play the part at the Canyon Theatre Guild’s gala fundraiser, dubbed “Casino
Royale.”
The event begins at 6:00 p.m.
with a martini bar, silent auction tables and disguise; attendees have been
encouraged to dress up like their favorite characters from the long running
cinematic series. One of the silent auction items is reportedly a spy kit from
the International Spy
Museum.
At 7:00 p.m.
guests will swagger into the Octopussy Lounge for dinner followed by an evening
of casino games and a live auction.
Of course, since the event is benefiting the Canyon Theatre Guild,
a few surprises have been planned. One individual at the gala will be secretly
playing a double agent, and it is up to the attendees to figure out who it is.
Tickets are still available for this Friday’s “Casino Royale,”
