Two lanes blocked near Templin Highway

[view:node_ad=5]A car fire broke out at about 2:30pm and quickly spread to brush off the Northbound I-5, just north of Templin Highway.

 

Two lanes are currently blocked on the freeway, and traffic has slowed down and started to back up.

 

The fire reached 12 acres, however it appears that as of 5:00pm firefighters were getting the upper hand.

 

UPDATE: The Sigalert issued for the I-5 is expected to be lifted by 6:15.
