A brush fire reported in Castaic near the northbound Interstate 5 and Parker Road is now out, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

Los Angeles County Fire officials said that the fire is reported at 1.5acres, “moving slowly” due to light winds and light fuels.

A first-alarm response was dispatched at 10:08 a.m. 

The units were released by 10:45 a.m., according to Fire Inspector Keith Mora.
