Castaic Education Wine Tasting Fundraiser Set Feb. 9

castaicedfoundationThe Castaic Education Foundation invites the community to participate in its fourth annual “Sweethearts for Education” event from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 9 at Salt Creek Grille.

The evening will include wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres and desserts, raffle prizes and a silent auction featuring golf at Robinson Ranch.

“The donations received from past events have allowed us to give grants to help establish science and art labs at each of the elementary schools in the district,” said Foundation Chair Sabrina MacDougall. “This fund also allows us to grant teachers the needed resources for other education projects and programs.”

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at any Castaic District school site, or at the District Office. All funds raised will go to the Teacher Grant Fund, with grants being awarded in May of this year.

Those who cannot attend, but would still like to support the Castaic Education Foundation, can send a tax-deductible donation, payable to Castaic Education Foundation, to Castaic Education Foundation c/o CUSD 28131 Livingston Avenue, Valencia, CA 91355
