Castaic Shelter Part Of National Adoption Event

shelterpittyCastaic Animal Shelter is one of the six LA County shelters participating in the ASPCA national adoption event next weekend, from Friday, March 30 to Sunday, April 1.

The “Mega Match-A-Thon” is being coordinated by the Bark Avenue Foundation and includes big discounts on adoption fees, free collars, leashes and ID tags and John Paul Pet products.

All animals will be fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Hours for the event are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Castaic shelter is located at 31044 N. Charlie Canyon Road in Castaic; other county shelters participating in the event include:

  • Downey- 11258 S. Garfield Ave., Downey CA 90242
  • Carson- 216 W. Victoria St., Gardena CA 90248
  • Baldwin Park- 4275 N. Elton St., Baldwin Park CA 91706
  • Lancaster- 5210 W. Ave I, Lancaster CA 93536
  • Agoura- 29525 Agoura Road, Agoura CA 91301
