Two SCV parties plan fund (and roof) raising.

On New Year’s Eve, all are invited to attend two Santa Clarita parties that are mixing a fun filled bash with fundraising efforts.

LETMESAIL, a non profit group devoted to providing social, recreational and educational activities for residents with disabilities, will be holding a New Year’s Eve Bon Voyage Ball. They will provide dinner, entertainment, dancing, a live band, casino games, a balloon drop and a midnight toast. The Hyatt Valencia will play host to the event.

All proceeds will directly benefit LETMESAIL, and tickets run $125 per person. Tickets may be purchased by calling (661) 702-8555, or by visiting their website at www.letmesail.org .

And in downtown Newhall, the Repertory East Playhouse will also be ringing in the New Year with a special party. Carnivale di Venezia will take off with hordevours, beer, soft drinks, and a special wine showcasing from Engelmann Cellars.

The black tie event also urges the use of Carnivale masks and/or costumes. Ticket prices run $60 per person or $100 per couple in advance. At the door, the tickets will run $75 per person.
