Lawyer allegedly rear-ended woman's car on Valencia Boulevard.

Celebrity attorney Steve Sitkoff was placed under citizen’s arrest Wednesday morning by a woman who claims the lawyer rear-ended her car on Valencia Boulevard.

Lt. Mark Hershey told KHTS that Sitkoff left the scene of the accident and drove to the parking lot of the Valencia Municipal Court at Magic Mountain Parkway. The victim followed him through the parking lot, but he attempted to elude capture, parking his car and entering the courthouse.

Hershey said a deputy went into the court and asked Sitkoff to come out, which he did. Sitkoff denied hitting the woman’s car, but the victim insisted that he be arrested.

Sitkoff, who defended “West Wing” creator Aaron Sorkin after his arrest for drug charges and is a partner in the firm Takajian, Sowers and Sitkoff, LLP, is a former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney and a former Superior Court Commissioner. He was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley station.
