The Los Angeles County Fire Department is hosting a Community Emergency Response Training, (C.E.R.T.) Mini-Refresher from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the department’s North County Training Center in Lancaster.
ALL CERT-trained individuals living in the Antelope and Santa Clarita Valleys who have completed training classes are invited to attend this event.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Volunteers on Patrol will register participants wishing to get involved with their communities. We will be practicing Search & Rescue, Fire Extinguishment, Triage, and reviewing basic disaster preparedness.
In addition, vendors providing disaster/survival products will be attending and members of the public are encouraged to visit them to purchase emergency supplies. This event is free.
