The Los Angeles County Clerk has announced the certified ballot counting update for the Nov. 8 general election.

For this update a total of 3,544,115 ballots were counted and processed, a number that makes up just under 70 percent of eligible Los Angeles County voters, according to County Clerk officials.
On December 6, members of the Board of Supervisors are scheduled to declare the general election results official.
The official election canvass began Nov. 11.
