Child Airlifted In Valencia Due To A Medical Emergency

Santa Clarita Sheriff’s deputies blocked the intersection of Avenue Scott and Anza Drive around 12:38 p.m. Monday to allow a helicopter to respond to a medical emergency on Anza Dr. between Ave. Scott and Avenue Mentry

A child experiencing a seizure was transported to a nearby hospital via helicopter at 1:14 p.m., according to Los Angeles County Fire officials.

 

The roadblock is now clear.

 

Emergency personnel including sheriffs, firefighters, paramedics, and EMT’s responded.
