Money puts non profit over their goal for new project.
[view:node_ad=5]The Child andFamily Center , a local non-profit, has much to celebratetoday, as they have received a massive $200,000 grant from theAnnenberg Foundation.
This comes after the Child and Family Center embarked on a newproject to provide electronic health records for the people theyassist. The total price tag of the project was estimated to be$635,000.
At the time, The Weingart Foundation vowed to supply a $200,000grant if the Center could raise the rest of the needed money.
So, in essence, with the 200k Annenberg grant, the Center nowwill receive the other 200k promised by the Weingart Foundation,thus reaching their goal for the project.
The additional money has already been raised by privatedonations and a $50,000 grant from the Parsons Foundation.
