CHP Uses Spike Strip To End Pursuit In Santa Clarita

khts_crime_chp A short pursuit ended Wednesday afternoon in Santa Clarita when California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers deployed a spike strip on the southbound I-5 near McBean Parkway, according to CHP officials.

One suspect was taken into custody, after officers used a “less-lethal” shotgun to blow out one of the windows with pellets.
