Christmas Trees To Be Collected For Troops

SCV residents will have their chance to send Christmas cheer to Camp Pendleton.

[view:node_ad=5]This year, Nancy’s Ranch will be joining with FedEx to accept Christmas tree donations to send to troops serving in the United States Armed Forces.

The program is a part of “Trees for Troops” spearheaded by the Christmas Spirit Foundation. Last year, the foundation placed over 11,000 trees nationwide.

Nancy’s Ranch, located on Magic Mountain Parkway just east of Interstate 5, will be collecting Christmas trees all weekend long donated from the public and by local growers.

“I have pledged one hundred trees to the program,” said Nancy. “I had to do that to get the FedEx trailer on the lot. I am hoping the public will come out and buy a tree for a serviceman’s family, and all the pledged trees will have a sponsor.”

Each tree will be delivered along with a personal message from the buyer.
