Cigarette Bandit Sought By Deputies

khts_crimeThe Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in an early morning burglary at the CVS drug store at 26550 Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus on Sunday, August 29.

The suspect, pictured here, threw a trash can lid through the front window of the store to gain entrance and stole numerous cartons of cigarettes.

He was caught on video surveillance. At the time, he was wearing a dark jacket and pants and blue surgical gloves.

He is further described as a male Caucasian between the ages of 50 and 55, unknown height and weight or eye color. He has long, thinning gray hair. Currently he is being sought for questioning only.CVScigbanditbig

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Christensen of the Santa Clarita Valley Station at 799-5138.
