Circle Of Hope Offers Fresh Perspective

Seldom considered thoughtfulness is their mission.

When cancer strikes a loved one, what options do they have?  When the time frame is measured in months, the idea of a cure or some other miracle breakthrough is not usually realistic.

Immediate treatment and care are the most pressing needs of those facing down a health crisis and it is with that in mind, that Circle of Hope comes to help.

Practical assistance is the goal of Circle of Hope, and they offer it in three ways.

Those without insurance can find themselves facing a long and difficult road ahead of them. In order to pay for the treatment, they often have to work extra jobs at a time when their physical condition is greatly diminished. This can also be the case for those who find themselves under insured.

As health plans become more complex, it is not always easy to know for sure that the health coverage you have is appropriate for dealing with cancer.

In this respect, Circle of Hope raises money to assist these patients, so that they may devote their efforts to healing, and beating cancer.

The second way they help is by providing the means for those diagnosed with breast cancer to get a second opinion. Misdiagnosis can be a costly and emotionally turbulent issue.

Circle of Hope also offers a unique way of comforting people who are undergoing breast cancer treatment.  Through their Compassionate Angel Program, they distribute practical emotional support by way of goody bags that are filled with items the cancer patient needs to help comfort them while undergoing chemotherapy treatments, low immune system, and/or hospice.

Circle of Hope has two fundraisers coming up, and you can help them continue their mission.

On April 21st, they will hold their third annual Walking for Hope 5k. This is a non competitive walk that welcomes families, groups and dogs! The Convoy of Hope, a convoy of semi trucks all rallying for a fellow driver who is currently battling breast cancer will also be in attendance.

Registration includes a T Shirt and dog registration includes a bandanna!

Also, on April 28th, there will be a Pilates Teck Fair, where patrons can get exclusive discounts on Pilates instruction for the day’s classes. The proceeds from the classes go directly to Circle of Hope.
