Get on your bike and join a leisurely ride from one of three starting points – Route 1 (6.1 miles) begins at Valencia High, follows the San Francisquito Creek Trail, Route 2 (4.3 miles) starts at Placerita Junior High School and follows the South Fork and Santa Clara River Trails and Route 3 (7.1 miles) starts at the CVS parking lot at Soledad Canyon and Camp Plenty Roads all end up at Bridgeport Park where there will be food, fun and giveaways.
There will also be a raffle to raise money for the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and the Amgen Breakaway for Cancer, where participants can win signed memorabilia from top names in NASCAR and the world of cycling as well as great sporting equipment.
Also on hand will be some of the professional cyclists who will compete in the upcoming Amgen Tour of California Feb. 23 and 24. The event is free and you don't even need a bike to participate in the park festivities.
