Canyon Country Advisory Committee to host each candidate

City Council elections are on the horizon and will be taking place next April.  Two Santa Clarita City Council positions will be decided.  One is currently filled by Bob Kellar who will be seeking re-election.   The other position was vacated by Cameron Smyth when he was elected a California State Representative.  Tim Ben Boydston was selected by the City Council to serve the remainder of Mr. Smyth's term.

Mark your calendars for an opportunity to meet, hear, and ask questions of the City Council candidates, in person, at the November 2007 and January 2008 Canyon Country Advisory Committee meetings. Each of the candidates will be given 30 minutes.  The first 10 minutes to introduce themselves and inform the audience of their qualifications.  The next 20 minutes is set aside for the candidate to answer questions from the audience.

Candidates Maria Gutzeit and Bob Kellar will be presenting at the Wednesday, January 16, 2008 Canyon Country Advisory meeting.
