Following their summer hiatus, the Santa Clarita City Council will be back at City Hall Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
In addition to the Historic Preservation Ordinance profiled in a separate article a number of other topics will come before the council, including:
Item 12: ADOPTION OF AN ENFORCEABLE OBLIGATION PAYMENT SCHEDULE
The City of Santa Clarita calls Governor Brown’s grab of city redevelopment money “probably illegal”. While lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the bills work their way through the system, city staff is recommending the Redevelopment Agency Board adopt the Enforceable Obligation Payment Schedule (EOPS) and direct Agency Staff to comply with the reporting and posting requirements of the EOPS statute.

Item 14: NORTH COPPERHILL ANNEXATION
