City Expands E-Service Functions On Smart Phones

The City of Santa Clarita is now “branded” in both iTunes and Android Application stores for its eService application. Now, residents can search the words “Santa Clarita” in either application store to find and download City- branded applications to access eService via their mobile phone or iPad.

“By expanding the City’s online eService system to include an app for both Android and iPhone smart phones, the City can now serve a great number of residents. The new app is an easily accessible mobile resource that allows community members to report issues anywhere in the City, any time of day,” commented Technology Services Manager Kevin Tonoian.

The mobile eService application allows the community to report graffiti, abandoned vehicles, transit issues, street repair needs, traffic light issues, and more. Simply photograph the issue and the application will automatically use GPS technology to determine the location of your concern. App users can also post questions or comments regarding the City issue.

Originally launched in 2010, the upgraded mobile eService application is more user-friendly and exclusive to Santa Clarita. Additionally, the new eService application is available on both Android and iPhone smart phones, increasing accessibility for community members.
