City Holds “Volunteen” Round-Up

Local Students Asked to Volunteer for City’s Cowboy Festival.The City of Santa Clarita has a great volunteer opportunity for teens to help out at the City’s upcoming Cowboy Festival.  Students, aged 11 to 14, who need to fulfill community service hours or who are simply interested in volunteering, can sign up to work at the Cowboy Festival’s Gold Rush Food Court, the weekend of April 26th and 27th.

Interested applicants must fill out a volunteer form and return in to the City no later than April 16, 2008.  Forms are available and can be picked up from the Community Services Office, which is located in City Hall at 23920 Valencia Boulevard Suite 110.

All Volunteens must attend a mandatory Volunteen Round-Up event on Wednesday, April 09, 2008 at 7:00 pm.  The round-up will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall.
