City Honored with Landscape Award

The City of Santa Clarita has been recognized by the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) for the Landscape Maintenance District (LMD) landscaping in the Centre Pointe Business Park. The award, given to the City’s LMD contractor, Stay Green, is for landscape beautification in the public works category for 2005.

To date, the City has been honored with eleven awards from various agencies since taking over the administration of the Landscape Maintenance Districts in 1997. This most recent honor is the fourth awarded to the City by the California Landscape Contractors Association.

The San Fernando Valley Chapter holds annual juried awards ceremonies to recognize outstanding landscape installation and maintenance. This award demonstrates the contractor and City’s dedication to excellence.

“We are so pleased that the CLCA has recognized the City’s work with Stay Green,” says Nancy Delange, Landscape Maintenance District Administrator for the City. “The City works closely with contractors to ensure the most aesthetic outcome for our new developments. Even as the City grows, we want to be sure it stays beautiful
