The City of Santa Clarita is looking for teens and adults ages 15 years or older to volunteer at the 2012 Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival, taking place at Melody Ranch Motion Pictures Studio and nearby venues, from Thursday, April 19 through Sunday, April 22.
Those interested in volunteering are required to attend the Volunteer Round-Up at the Santa Clarita Activities Center at 7 p.m. on Monday March 19. No RSVP for this event is necessary.

The Volunteer Round-Up is an orientation to everything about the Cowboy Festival. Volunteers will gain an insider’s look into the Festival and be entered into raffles to win festival memorabilia. At the Volunteer Round-Up participants will also get first pick on available positions, including: shuttle hosts, registration assistance, safety patrol, ushering, food court, merchandise, and more.
Interested participants are encouraged to request a registration packet prior to the meeting from Volunteer Services Supervisor, Susana Coronel, by email at scoronel@santa-clarita.com. Registration packets may be submitted at the Volunteer Roundup.
A separate orientation will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 at the Santa Clarita Activities Center for families and teens ages 12 to 14 who are interested in volunteering at the Festival.
The Santa Clarita Activities Center is located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway.
