The City of Santa Clarita will host a free Enterprise Zone Breakfast Workshop on Wednesday, November 10 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center. The workshop will provide information about how companies can reduce their state income tax through the Enterprise Zone program.
This informational workshop will include two guest speakers, Steve Tannehill of the Small Business Development Center, and keynote speaker Armando Jamjian, managing director for Encore Tax Consulting Group.
“From saving money to purchasing equipment and even using tax savings to create more job opportunities within companies, the Santa Clarita Enterprise Zone is beneficial for our entire community,” said Mayor Laurene Weste. “With the potential expansion of the Enterprise Zone into unincorporated areas, businesses should take this opportunity to learn more about Enterprise Zone benefits.”
