The City of Santa Clarita will present a “How to Fill Out a Solicitation,” a program that is part of the City’s Vendor Outreach efforts. The presentation will cover the steps necessary for filling out Quotes and Bids that are published by the City.
The informative session will take place on Thursday, October 14, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Century Room of City Hall, located at 23920 Valencia Blvd.

Bid information is posted on Santa Clarita’s website and is also sent directly to vendors. Practicing its own advocacy to shop local, the City goes above and beyond to ensure that every chance to bid on City projects and procurements is available to local businesses.
“By shopping around for the best price for projects and procurements, the City proactively ensures that public funds are spent in the most responsible manner,” said Mayor Laurene Weste.
