Family fun in store on city camping trip.

The City of Santa Clarita is inviting families to sign up for 14th Annual Lake Cachuma Family Camp that will run from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13. Lake Cachuma is a Santa Barbra County Park located off of Hwy. 159, close to Solvang.

The cost to participate in this weekend long event is $169 per family for City residents, $185 per family for non-City residents.

The last day to register for the 14th Annual Lake Cachuma Family Camp is Thursday, July 3rd by 5:00 p.m. Registration can be done either through the City’s website at www.santa-clarita.com or at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center, located at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway.

Lake Cachuma offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, boating, bike rentals and miniature golf. The planned activities for the weekend include crafts, games, campfires and a potluck.
