The City of Santa Clarita will conduct a Traffic Circulation Improvement Project on Bouquet Canyon Road at Newhall Ranch Road beginning Monday, January 3. Construction work and lane closures will be conducted at night to avoid disrupting busy daytime travel. Construction is expected to continue through February 10.
Work on the Traffic Circulation Improvement Project will include the removal of a raised stamped concrete median, construction of median curb and gutter, stamped concrete, paving, signing, striping, landscaping, traffic signal modifications, and installation of wireless system detection.

The project is anticipated to improve overall traffic circulation and safety at the intersection by allowing for dual left-turn from Southbound Bouquet Canyon Road onto eastbound Newhall Ranch Road. The traffic circulation improvements will help accommodate the increased daily traffic flow to the newly constructed Golden Valley Road Bridge over Santa Clara River.
