Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoppin’ down the bunny trail right to Central Park.
The City of Santa Clarita, the Saugus Action Committee, local businesses invite all kids between the ages of 1 and 10 to come to Central Park on Saturday for the annual Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, kicking off the spring season, as E. Bunny has hidden thousands of eggs and prizes in the grasses of the park.
The park will be divided into four different areas by age so that everyone will have a chance to collect as many eggs and prizes as possible.

With thousands of eggs to choose from, every child is sure to have something to smile about after the rush for eggs is over. Starting promptly at 10 a.m. and ending around 10:02 a.m., the Eggstravaganza gives new meaning to the phrase “the most exciting two minutes in sports.” The event is a sign to see as the swarm of Santa Clarita youth take part in the fun.
The kids will be hoping to find “grand prize” treasures that will be hidden amongst the colored eggs sprinkled on the grass. Prizes include stuffed animals and local restaurant gift certificates.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of nonperishable food that will be collected for the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry.
