Established in 2007, the Santa Clarita Enterprise Zone is designed to provide special California tax incentives to qualified businesses located within the zone. Since its designation, the City has issued more than 2,000 vouchers for the program, created or retained more than 2,000 jobs as a result, and helped more than 200 local businesses by providing over $75 million in potential tax saving benefits.

On September 15, the County of Los Angeles, the City of Santa Clarita, and the Santa Clarita Valley EDC will be submitting an application for a larger Enterprise zone to include businesses within unincorporated Los Angeles County land.

The Enterprise Zone Workshop will take place from 9 to 10 A.M. in Council Chambers at City Hall. City Hall is located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard.
