City’s Anti-Gang Task Force And Pride Committee To Hold Graffiti Removal Training

An increase in graffiti, is taking place in our city.

The City of Santa Clarita and volunteers are working hard to eliminate graffiti-vandalism in the city.

In an effort to keep the Santa Clarita graffiti-free the Anti-Gang Task Force and Pride committee will be holding a training teaching residents how to effectively remove vandalism on May 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. It will be held at Central Park in the upper parking lot located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road in Santa Clarita. “An increase in graffiti, is taking place in our city,” said Cynthia Llerenas, Youth Outreach Supervisor. “If graffiti is not removed, it only invites more graffiti to be made. It is important for community members to become involved to ensure Santa Clarita stays clean,” she added.

Those attending must meet physical requirements that include being able to lift equipment that weighs 50 lbs. or more. Attendees must also be able to stand, reach bend and squat and tolerate exposure to chemicals and loud noise.
