Drivers advised to plan extra time
Monday morning will see the opening of the highly anticipated College of the Canyons Canyon Country campus.
Over 3,000 students are expected to begin their fall semester at the Canyon Country campus on Sierra Highway starting Monday. Some traffic delays are expected along Sierra Highway, North of Soledad, because there are no working traffic signals at the campus entrance.
So for the next three weeks, 3-way stop signs will be placed on Sierra Highway at the location.
It is advised that anyone heading to the campus plan extra time in case the traffic volume proves to cause delays.
