Santa Clarita soccer fans are in for a treat as COC will host the California Community College Soccer finals.
The event which takes place December 5 through the 7 will cover a single round elimination, a meet day with potential scouts and the championship game.
[view:node_ad=5] “The best community college soccer players in
Southern California will be there,” said Phil Marcellin Head Coach of COC’s Men’s and Women’s Soccer.
COC received the honored position because the California Community College Soccer Association wanted to bring the championship game back to community colleges. In past years the big game was played at
Fresno
Pacific
University ’s field in
Fresno .
Marcellin, who is also the president of the CCCSA, convinced the association to bring the game to COC because of its facilities and ability to house a large crowd.
Tickets will be on sale for $8 for general admission and $5 for students, seniors, facuility and children under 12.
