COC Job Fair

College of the Canyons and The Signal present the Spring 2008 Job & Career Fair. Are you looking for a job, seeking a new career or just wondering what the employment market might have to offer you?  Then you will want to stop by College of the Canyons Spring Job & Career Fair, to be held on Wednesday, April 23 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at College of the Canyons.

Job fairs are a great way to meet a number of business representatives in person, all at the same place and within a short period of time.  It would normally take days to contact all of these companies via email and phone, and you still would not have the benefit of dazzling them with your personal presentation and appearance.  Job fairs provide you with multiple “mini interviews”, and since we are expecting over 100 businesses to attend, be sure to bring enough copies of your resume and to dress professionally, as you only have one chance to make a positive first impression.

The Job & Career Fair is open to the public, and provides opportunities in a wide variety of career fields such as law enforcement, marketing, medical, sales, finance, recreation, education, computers and engineering.  In addition, there will be various levels of opportunity, from entry level to management.

Please contact our Career Center at 661-362-3286 if you need assistance preparing your resume or if you would like further information on how to prepare for the job fair.

We expect over 1,000 job seekers to attend this event.  Business representatives, please contact us if you would like a booth for recruitment.
