A 32-year old Canyon Country man was arrested Monday at College of the Canyons for disorderly conduct and possession of child pornography and detectives are looking for possible additional victims.

Shortly after 5 p.m., a 12-year-old boy saw a man trying to videotape him while he was using the restroom at the college. The victim ran from the restroom and alerted campus security, who detained Daniel Donovan after he was identified by the young boy.

Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley station responded and searched Donovan’s car, which was parked in a campus lot and recovered several items of child pornography.

Donovan, who is a student at COC, was arrested and is being held at the station in lieu of $45,000 bail.

Sheriff’s Special Victims investigators have presented the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office and two counts of disorderly conduct in a public restroom and one count of possession of child pornography were filed.
