COC Volleyball Star Is All-Tournament Player

Bremer picked for honors in first championship.

[view:node_ad=5]College of the Canyons outside hitter Priscilla Bremer was named to the All-Tournament team after the Cougars made their first ever run in the recent 2007 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Women’s Volleyball Championships.

Bremer, a sophomore transfer from Northwest Missouri, led all hitters with a 4.1 kill average, 3 digs and 0.7 blocks during the two matches on Nov. 30.

The tournament accolade also goes along with her first team All-Western State Conference honor that she earned earlier this month.

As a team, the Cougars made an early exit out of the double elimination state tournament with losses to San Joaquin Delta, 2-3, and Santa Rosa, 3-1, after recording two upsets in the regional playoffs against Orange Coast and Irvine Valley.
