The William S. Hart High School District is hosting a series of free workshops this week to help parents plan for their children’s college education.
Michael Endersbe of College Bound Strategies, LLC, will present an overview of the college admissions process and discuss realistic funding opportunities.

The workshops will be held at four high schools; parents are welcome at all of the workshops regardless which school their student attends.
Monday 9/19 – Valencia High School, 7 p.m.
Tuesday 9/20 – Canyon High School, 7 p.m.
Wednesday 9/21 – Golden Valley High School, 7 p.m.
Thursday – 9/22 – William S. Hart High School, 6 p.m.
Enderle will talk about what’s really going on in the world of college admissions; the challenges that students face as they apply to college in a more competitive environment; realistic cost reduction and funding resources to help pay for college without damaging a student’s financial future or their parents’ plans for retirement.

- Where to find the information you need to talk with colleges
- Current status at the public colleges
- Share the Responsibility – A Four Partners Model
- Understand the features and benefits of 529 and Coverdell Savings Plans
- Ways to determine the best loans for you and your student
- Know when to say “no” to your student and the colleges that court them
- Have an opportunity to ask questions of an expert
