College Of The Canyons’ Science Fair To Promote Environmental Literacy

In an effort to promote environmental literacy, SCEEC is hosting an Environmental Science Fair in room 258. of the University Center at College of the Canyons on Mar. 15, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Students (grades 4 and above) are encouraged to submit projects that promote the discussion of environmental sustainability and students may work independently or in groups.

Winners will receive a ribbon and gift certificate as well as have a chance to display their projects at the Environmental Conference on October 12, 2013.

Judging categories are:  Grades 4 to 6, Middle School, and High School, set up begins at 2:30 p.m., judging begins at 3 p.m.

Registration forms are due by Friday, March 1st and can be downloaded from the SCEEC website at www.sceec.org.
