College Of The Canyons To Host Business Networking Workshop

Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich and the Office of Small Business, in connection with the California Small Business Development Center, are hosting a business connections workshop on Monday, April 1, at the College of the Canyons University Center in Santa Clarita.

The Contracting Connections Workshop and Networking Event will give small business owners and entrepreneurs the chance to connect with business leaders and to partner with local, state and federal agencies including L.A. County, the City of Santa Clarita, LA World Airports, Metro and the U.S. General Services Administration. Participants will learn the government bidding and contracting process and receive counseling on local bid opportunities, certification, marketing, and financing.

The workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm. There is no charge to attend. People interested in attending can RSVP online at osb.lacounty.gov. Go to the “Events and Training Course” calendar and click “Contract Connections” link scheduled for April 1.
