Comedy Night To Benefit Santa Clarita Homeless Shelter

khts_givingbackA comedy night fundraiser to benefit the Santa Clarita Shelter, “Humor Helps” is scheduled Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

Comedians from J.R.’s Comedy Club will be featured in this fundraiser being held at the Blessed Kateri Slattery Hall, 22508 Copper Hill Drive in Saugus.

According to shelter officials, last year, the number of homeless clients served at the shelter increased dramatically. On most nights, the shelter exceeded its 40-bed capacity and had to transform the dining room into a dorm room after dinner.
