It will feature Billy Gardell, from the hit CBS television series “Mike and Molly,” and Last Comic Standing’s fifth season winner Jon Reep and fifth season contender Ralph Harris.
Jeff Sutphen, host of ABC’s “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” and Nickelodeon’s “Figure It Out” is expected to serve as host for the night.
Proceeds of this event will help generate awareness and support for the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Project, a non-profit organization providing outreach and free counseling to teenagers who are dealing with issues related to drugs and alcohol, pregnancy, depression and suicide, bullying, abuse and neglect.
“We always try and produce fundraising events that are inviting to the public, so that they enjoy themselves while also supporting a good cause,” said Kim Goldman, Executive Director of The Youth Project.
“The work that the Youth Project does is so important to the health and well being to teens and their families, but we also recognize that laughter and levity is equally as healthy,” according to her statement.
Local residents will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the comics at the Meet the Comics at a Pre-show VIP party in Parking Lot 4 at the Performing Arts Center at 6 p.m. for $35 per person.
