2018 Summer Movies In The Park Announced

The lineup for the 2018 Summer Movies in the Park have been announced, with three critically-acclaimed movies scheduled for the summer series.

The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with The Friends of Hart Park, presents its 6th Annual Summer Movies in the Park Series.

Los Angeles County’s Department of Parks and Recreation’s William S. Hart Regional Park is inviting the community to outdoor, fun-filled summer nights at the movies! Park visitors can choose among three outstanding family friendly movies, and the admission is free.

Community members are encouraged to bring blankets, pillows and lawn chairs and are asked to remember that unleashed animals, smoking and alcohol are prohibited in the park at all times.

The 2018 Summer Movies In The Park schedule is below. Residents should note that movie titles and show times are subject to changes:

Friday, July 13: Dusk, “Coco”

Friday, August 3: Dusk,  “Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle”  

Friday, August 17: Dusk, “Black Panther”

Snacks, craft, and novelty item vendors are also scheduled to be available to those in attendance.

The summer movie series is scheduled to take place at William S. Hart Regional Park, at the Park Picnic Area. Hart Park is located at 24151 Newhall Avenue.
