This is so sad, please pass on my condolences to his family, friends and coworkers
Just out of curiosity, how was KHTS able to confirm the identity of the deceased person so quickly? Other major media outlets in LA don’t have that confirmation.
Wayne was always the first to greet my husband and I at weddings, funerals, family events with his smiling face and glistening eyes. Such a nice person.
Wayne was truly a natural for his vocation. When I re-located to CA in 1986 from VA to work at Hughes, he was a mere young boy. Wayne immediately educated me about earthquake preparedness (which I knew nothing about). He specifically told me what to keep in the trunk of my car to keep me safe during the unexpected. So flashlights were purchased for us all LOL, then canned goods, can opener, and bottled water were placed in my car backpack. Ater I did all of that, I’ll never forget his happy look of approval.
Forever in my heart, Aunti Lori and Uncle Robin
Not ok that another has lost his life dealing with depression. #everylifematters, The struggle to deal with mental health is real! Even more reason why we can’t afford to lose programs like SRD~Straightening Reins, specifically dealing with mental health issues! ????
Where did it say he had mental health issues?
Too many people are suffering with mental illness. The problem is when they are adults we can’t make them
get the help they need. Laws need to be changed!
So sorry to hear this. My prayers are with his family.
This is just devastating to hear again losing a fire fighter. I don’t want to speculate the reasons but very sadden for the loss. Prayers to his family and the FD family.
R.I.P. Sir, prayers for the family.
